Now that V 1.2 is finally release, we are going to plan the next big step. Of course we are not going to let the next update take as much time as the last one, instead we will release revision updates (1.2.x) with small improvements and new features more frequently. However, for the next minor update (1.3) we would like to know, which feature you'd like to see within PnPTC.

So, we would be really happy about feedback and discussion to this poll.

Some thoughts about the options in this poll:

Improved texturing: Multiple texture layers; softer and controllable blending between textures

Improved generators: Better controllable automated heightmap generation and automated terrain texturing; more natural results of the automated generators

Rivers and seas: Automated terrain adaption for rivers and lakes; Flood-Fill for lakes

Street editing: Automatically create street geometries; Adapt terrain surface below streets

City editor: Something like SimCity ;); Semiautomated city generation

EAX sounds: Define areas with specific EAX settings

Ok, nice.

Very, Very important !!!
I personally can not begin without.

texturemap does not exceed a technique?

I dont understand.

Huum, i think is not important because city and street is build in 3d soft ware (blender, xsi, maya, 3ds) and a better improvement has added. But
is only my opinion.

Yeah good. (but for personali i'm not use sound in pnptc but in rc)

Ok is very nive for a texture. I have one opignon to add :

Static Objets colition : static objet detect colision for move. (i have send a video in other topic) this système in not very important but i think is better important than street and city editor)

Thanks you for your good job :)

This means the automated texturing of the terrain. I changed my previous post so it is more precisely.

Well, if you want to model a river, it would be nice if the editor will adapt the terrain heights accordingly.

Flood-fill means, interactive flooding of a valley.

I've voted for the terrain texturing...

But the road generation stuff would be interesting and have many uses.

One thing that would be interesting to think about... Lights. Support for Ogre or maybe Blitz based light types and the placement of them. With the added edition of an Ogre based 3D preview you'd become the editor of choice for anyone using Ogre :)

Just a thought...

improved terrain texturing is must with soft blending.

Will there be a normal map texturing available for terrain in next version and also the ability to export this normal map?
