 Post subject: Export smaller height maps

Any chance of adding a smaller height map export? I would like to work on the terrains using 1024 sized height maps, but to be able to export them as 64x64 or 128x128 bmp height maps.

Currently, I export export the 1024 sized bmp height maps. I reduce them in size by either scaling the images or having the scaling done by importing them into my editor (3d GameStudio's Model Editor). Both of these methods produce seams between the terrains due to the scaling and they don't make sure that the edge pixels match.

Hi Jason,

that could be a valuable feature indeed. I put it on the list. However, in the meantime, depending on the overall size of the terrain, you could export the whole terrain into one big heightmap image. If you scale down the complete terrain in one step, you can get rid of the seams and matching problems.
