It would be good if the navigation window were not docked.

What would be the advantages of this anyway?
The navigation window is a tiny element of the whole viewport,
you can view and hide it with a single click.
And when you're using a higher screen resolution than 1024x768
the navigation window will never bother your workflow.

Just a minor point. It comes up in the upper left corner and it takes time to scroll over to it as the editing controls are all on the right. And at times, one has to go back and forth.

Can't complain about it so far.
I guess there's no chance to change this on a short time.

So far, I think this app and the personel have a great approach. I just send in my comments and requests that would make what I want to do and how I could most easily do it. Thanks.

Yes and we are very thankful for every single comment. Unfortunately, we currently cannot implement new things in short term. But we list all of them and try to implement as many user requests as possible with every release.

I understand. Am I correct in that you all are not doing this full time?

Yes, that's right. I'm currently a bit busy, finishing my PhD work.
