Unless I missed it somewhere, it would be good to have the option of having all textures in a common folder by directory specification, rather than having to duplicate the same texture files in each project. That way if several different terrains use the same texture, there would not be mulitple copies of it. And if the textures are also used by other applications, more copies would not be needed. It would make managing textures easier.

I don't know if I like this idea. Each terrain project should be managed separately IMO.

I don't want to open a different project and have the same texture file sets.

Personally I have the same opinion as alan. But I heard that whish of wizard more than once by now. So I'm thinking about adding an option with which one can decide whether one wants to use the terrain project's directory, a "global" directory within the TCs installation directory, or a user defined directory.

Having the options stated would be good. I have 5 "projects" that will all be using the same set of textures. I'll start off with multiple copies, but would like one common set at some point.

I think having a common folder for textures would be great. Then there could be folders local to the project that could have any additional project specific textures.
