Not only can I not get grass to display anymore for some reason (probably user error hehe)

But when I enable the grass option I have a major performance slow down with the current standard edition PnP

Considering I have a Duel Core 4gig ram with a 8800gtx 768, I find this confusing... PnP locks up for 5 to 6 seconds whenever I try and move or turn the viewport.

Well... consider buying a quad-core :D

Whenever you move or rotate the camera, the program generates the grass placements based on the defined densities. This should usually be almost imperceptible on your machine. So I think the slow down is a direct consequence of the first problem (grass not displayed). Maybe the program tries to load the mesh of a grass and fails. If the program does this for, lets say, 200 grass placements during one camera step, it will take very long, indeed. If the grass can be loaded correctly, it is only loaded once and just beeing instanced 200 times.

So, it is surely a problem with the grass mesh files. Can you check in the grass manager, if all grass files can be loaded correctly?
