Hi Not sure if this is a bug :)

when exporting vegitation xml i noticed that the tree hieght values are not relative to the terrain model

If say i have a flat terrain exported as a mesh which has a terrain of min level 30 meters and place a tree on the flat surface the height in the xml records the trees height as 0 when i would have thought 30 would be the correct value?

Is it possible to have the heights recorded properly or am i missing something or have the terrain min value exported somewhere in the xml so i can do the offsets myself?

thanks

The exported height is the height over ground at the tree's position. So it should be usually (at least very close to) zero. but it would be no problem to add the absolute height (above ground zero) to the export.

There will be an additional Z position for all objects and trees with the xml export in the next release. Until then you could try the txt export with a scaling factor of 1.
