I don't find D3DXIFF_HDR defined in the DirectX9SDK/Include/D3DX9TEX.H file. I think I have the latest x9.
Actually, there are several other errors in attempting to build all after downloading what I thought was the latest sdk...???

Well, D3DXIFF_HDR has been available in DX9 for quite a while (I think it was added with the summer update 2004). I'm not using the latest DX SDK, but it should still be available http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/directx9_c/D3DXIMAGE_FILEFORMAT.asp?frame=true

I think your problem can get solved by downloading a newer DX SDK.

Just a warning. The latest DX SDK (I think starting with the Dec 06) no longer supports 1.x shaders.

I had downloaded the aug version, but thanks. I don't like to use any ms stuff that has just been released unless I have to.
