 Post subject: Texture layer blending when painting

Hello, ive been using Pnp for quite a while and i observed there is no possibility of blending two texture layers together.

I have a base texture for the whole terrain and i want to use other textures to combine with the base texture in variable percentages over the terrain. What Pnp does now is replacing completly the base texture layer with the new texture layer on areas im painting.
The alpha map export is supporing this by default so they are easily used with shaders to obtain the blending result.

Is this feature present into Pnp and i cant find it? If not, is there any word of implementing it into the near future?

This is the feature I need too so that I can switch from Freeworld3D to PnP.

I'm also interested in the timeline, do you have one?

I'm spending as much time on it as I can offer... It is making progress and I'm hoping I can finish at least a first beta version within one month.
